On October 27, we lighted up Karlovka together!
Unique video mapping illuminated the facade of the new campus and commemorated some of the milestones and personalities associated with the history of our faculty, which began in 1945. The event was accompanied by musical performances by several bands. In collaboration with several departments, student clubs, and the Krašovská Activity Center, a rich program for children was prepared in the campus atrium. Refreshments were also provided. The event attracted visitors from the faculty and from all over Pilsen. We would like to thank all the volunteers, faculty staff, and the Město Plzeň for their cooperation in this unique event. A ceremonial gathering took place on November 4.
The ceremonial gathering of the academic community symbolically concluded this year’s celebrations of the faculty’s 80th anniversary. The event was attended by representatives of Charles University, partner institutions, students, employees, and alumni.
