We would like to inform you that the promised new management system for the underground car park and car park is now ready to be launched.
In order to test how it works in practice, we will be transferring your current parking permits and vehicle registration numbers to the new system next week (i.e. 10–16 August 2026). For the time being, therefore, nothing will change for you.
This is a fairly complex change, and although we expect the process to run smoothly, minor issues cannot be entirely ruled out. In such cases, reception staff will be on hand to open the barrier manually for you. Please do let us know if this happens, ideally via the helpdesk at https://sd.cuni.cz, using the ‘LFP – Access and Authorisation Management’ form.
We expect the new system to be in a trial phase until around the end of August. Subsequently, the option to pay for a parking permit for the next period – from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 – will be launched.
We will inform you in good time when new registrations open. Instructions will, of course, also be available, including details on how to pay the fee for the maintenance of our campus car parks.
