Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas \u00c1lvarez Cubero<\/strong><br><em>Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology III and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Granada, Spain<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maria Jesus received a MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the&nbsp;University of Granada. In 2012 she obtained her PhD in Biochemistry from&nbsp;the University of Granada and became a full professor in 2024. During her PhD training she held research&nbsp;grants&nbsp;in Texas (Health and Science University), and Coimbra, Portugal (School of&nbsp;Medicine), and completed a postdoctoral stay in Rome (University of Tor Vergata, School&nbsp;of Biology). She has been a member of the Liquid Biopsy group at Genyo-Pfizer&nbsp;research center since 2012,&nbsp;and has been leading her own research group BIO-354 since 2019.&nbsp;Her main research topics are the searching of non-invasive&nbsp;biomarkers in urological tumors.
