Charles University is the recipient of the prestigious HR Award.

European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. Based on the Charter and Code, Charles University, like other research institutions across Europe, implements the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, which aims to continuously improve the quality of human resources management, working conditions, and professional growth of researchers.

The implementation of international standards at the university brings transparency to processes (e.g., career rules and employee evaluations), responsiveness to current trends (e.g., support in the areas of GDPR, open science, intellectual property rights, knowledge and technology transfer), and better working conditions in the form of an emphasis on ethical principles, equal opportunities, and work-life balance.
