Pilsen is a city surrounded by nature. Right in the city you can visit the Bolevec Ponds or Borský Park, where you will find greenery and peace. Within driving distance you can go on a trip to the countryside. For example, to Radyně Castle.

You can get around the city by public transport. If you prefer to walk, you can also get to important places from the centre on foot. For all public transport, you only need one card for 12 EUR / month.

There are several unique features in the town. The Cathedral of St. Bartholomew boasts the tallest church tower in the Czech Republic. Pilsen’s Great Synagogue is the fifth largest in the world. In addition to its sights, Pilsen is home to the world-famous Pilsner Urquell beer.
