First year Dental students, who come from abroad but study in Czech, won two medals in the International Translation and Presentation Competition, organised as part of the International Conference of Foreign Students of Czech. The conference was organised by the Institute of Language and Vocational Training of Charles University (IULV) together with the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic. The third place in the category of professional presentations went to Karina Sokolova with her presentation Complex care of the oral cavity, while her colleague Ramazan Mustafaiev won the first place for his presentation Flashcards as an effective study method. Congratulations to the students and their supervisor Mgr. Dita Macháčková from the LFP Department of Languages.
