On 28.11. the canteen will be hosting a Japanese cuisine day. In addition to a sushi set by sushi master Mark Hora, you can enjoy Japanese salads in a cold buffet, original teriyaki with both chicken and tofu, Japanese Tonkatsu steak and much more.
Master of Japanese cuisine Marek Hora
Marek is one of the biggest experts on sushi and Japanese cuisine in our country. He studied in Japan with Mr. Masayoshi Kazato, one of the most renowned Japanese chefs in Japan. He has participated in the World Sushi Cup Japan several times and was the only Czech to participate in the Seven Sushi Samurai competition in the UK. From 2013 to the end of 2023 he was co-owner and chef of YAMATO restaurant in Prague’s Vinohrady district. In 2024, he was appointed as a Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan ( MAFF).
