Dear students,
We invite you to use the former cafeteria room next to the Blue Lecture Hall to study and relax during your day on campus.
You may now use the room during operating hours, i.e. weekdays 6am – 8pm, when it will be permanently unlocked. There is no card access – the room will be unlocked and locked by security/reception. There are toilets directly opposite the room, with refreshment machines a short distance further on.
The room will continue to be used occasionally for faculty events (notices of events, and thus room closures, will be posted on the door). The original food service equipment remains here, separated by a mobile wall. Please do not try to move it in any case.
We will also add beanbags to the room, similar to those in the library or relaxation room on the 1st floor. We do not plan to place a microwave or electric kettle here, please use the existing relaxation room for these items.
We are pleased to be able to offer you another quiet space to spend time between classes and hope that you will accept it with the limitations described.
