Organiser of the competition
The organizer of the competition is the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, Charles University, with registered office at 76 Svobody Avenue, 32300 Pilsen, ID: 00216208.
Duration of the competition
The competition runs from 1 March 2025 to 19 April 2025
Conditions of participation
- The competition is open to students of LFP UK
- Anyone who:
- sends a product design proposal for the e-shop to pr@lfp.cuni.cz
- The submission period ends on 31 March 2025
Competition rules
- Each participant can submit any number of designs.
- The design must not contain inappropriate content (e.g. vulgarity, violence, discrimination, etc.). The organiser reserves the right to exclude inappropriate entries.
- The organiser reserves the right to exclude designs whose estimated cost of production of 1 piece exceeds CZK 700 incl. VAT.
- The use of the faculty or university emblem or logo will be in accordance with the Dean’s Measure No. 9/2023 and the rules for the visual style and logos of the Charles University.
Selection of the winner
- Submitted designs that do not violate the reputation and interests of the LFP UK will be submitted to the faculty students for voting via an electronic form.
- Proposals will be submitted anonymously without attribution.
Price
- The author of the winning proposal will be awarded a scholarship of CZK 3,500 to the winner’s account.
- The name of the author of the winning proposal will be written next to the item on the LFP UK e-shop.
- The author will be rewarded with a finished product according to his/her design.
- Notification of the winner and delivery of the prize
- The winner will be contacted at the email from which he/she submitted the design for the competition.
- The prize will be handed over in person or, by agreement, sent to the following address.
- The scholarship will be credited to the winner’s bank account.
Personal data protection
- By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to the processing of his/her personal data (name, contact details) for the purposes of the competition.
- The organizer undertakes to keep the data in accordance with applicable laws and not to pass it on to third parties.
Other provisions
- The organizer reserves the right to change the rules of the competition or cancel the competition at any time without refund.
- By participating in the competition, the participant confirms that he/she has read and agrees to these terms and conditions.
- By submitting a competition design, participants confirm that by creating the design and using it for the purpose of the competition, they have not unlawfully infringed any third party rights, in particular copyright and rights related to copyright within the meaning of Act No. 121/2000 Coll., Copyright Act, as amended. By submitting a competition design, participants confirm that their design is original and that they are entitled to exercise all rights related to the creation and use of the design. In the event of any claims by third parties arising from copyright infringement, all liability shall be borne solely by the entrant, who undertakes to pay any damages or costs incurred by the competition organiser as a result of such infringement.
- By submitting a competition entry, entrants confirm that they grant the organiser permission to use any part of the copyright works for an unlimited period of time.
