Instructions for electronic enrollment in the next year of study

Electronic enrollment into the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year

(Does not aply for the enrollment into the 1st year and Individual Study plan. Enrollment into the individual study plan is done via paper form as before)

 

1.      Pay the tuition fee: GM 300 000,- CZK , DY 340 000,- CZK.

Send a payment confirmation as an attachement of the email to medstudy@lfp.cuni.cz .

As a subject of the email write: Tuition fee – Name, Surname - year and field of study

example: Tuition fee – John Newman – 4th year GM

 

In justified cases, students in higher years may ask the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen for a permission to pay their annual tuition fee in two equal instalments. Payment in two instalments is not claimed automatically. The final decision in this matter is entirely to the Dean of the Faculty.

For this purpose students are to use a request form published on our websites http://www.lfp.cuni.cz/clanek/4326-request.html  and submit this filled-in form to the Study Department.

The deadline for submitting of request is 30th July 2020. After this date any requests will not be accepted!

In case if student´s request is positively approved by the Dean, student is to visit the Study Department personally to sign an Instalment plan, which is a binding document for the payment of tuition fee in two instalments.

The University requires from each student that the tuition fee should be paid by the bank transfer and any charges required by the bank for this transfer should be covered from the student´s side (payers), so that the University will receive the mentioned amount in netto.

Students will not be enrolled and allowed to continue their study without the on-time payment of the full amount of the tuition fee.

 

The tuition fee should be paid to the Faculty Bank account in CZK currency.

Please check all bank details and the transferred amount carefully before you proceed the bank transfer. Do not forget to identify the tuition fee payment (name of student, year of study, date of birth…).

Sending the money to the incorrect bank account or using another currency may cause a tuition fee debit because of a payment delay and additional high bank transfer fees.

 

2. Students of the 2nd and 4th year of GM and students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of DY submit a summer practice confirmation to the Study Department (via email). In case of students of General Medicine and 2nd and 3rd year of Dentistry  - this possibility is not  valid for a 4th year Dentistry! -  can be a summer practice replaced by a volunteering practice confirmation, see the announcement here: http://www.lfp.cuni.cz/clanek/5118-summer-practice-and-volunteering.html

This year, due to an epidemiological situation, it is possible to send the confirmation via emails an attachement to medstudy@lfp.cuni.cz .

As a subject of the email write: Summer practice – Name, Surname - year and field of study.    Example: Summer practice– John Newman – 4th year GM

Of course, it is possible to send a payment confirmation and a summer practice confirmation in one email as two attachements.

 

3. Check your personal data in the SIS. In case if some of your data set in the SIS are not valid anymore, update it.

4. For your own purpose run in SIS the checking of your study duties necessary for the enrollment into the next year.

Is some fullfilled credit or exam missing in your SIS?

All results are recorded by appropriate Departments and Clinics into the SIS system. Student´s responsibility is to check, if their results are recorded in the system correctly and on time – at least within 5 working days from the date of sitting their exam or credit. In case if this does not happen, student is obliged to contact their examinator via email. The copy of their email should be forwarded to the garant of the subject, too.

5. Register for core-elective subjects.

The number of credits achieved in core elective subjects for the whole time of study is 18 for General Medicine Course/ 15 for Dentistry Course. 6. Send a request for the enrollment into the next year via SIS to the Study Department.

 If everything is correct, you will be enrolled by a Study Department in an electronic way.

Student who do not complete their enrollment during the enrollment terms set by the Faculty will be prompted via email in the SIS to do so at the latest during the alternative term. If student do not enroll at the latest by the alternative enrollment date, it applies that by the date of the alternative enrollment date their study was terminated.

To avoid problems with the start of study we appeal to all students to pay their tuition fee on time and do their enrollment as soon as possible if the conditions for their enrollment are fullfilled.
